Important
Certified English language proficiency at Proficiency level (C2) is a mandatory requirement for admission to the Programme.
The selection criteria are grouped into three main categories:
Academic Background (40%): Assessment of overall academic performance and undergraduate degree grade.
Research Activity (30%): Assessment of research experience, publications and scientific activities.
Personal Assessment (30%): Assessment of letters of recommendation and interview performance.
This combined approach ensures a comprehensive assessment of each applicant’s profile.
Oral Interview
The interview is conducted before a three-member committee appointed by the Programme’s Coordinating Committee. With a weighting of 20%, it is one of the three most heavily weighted selection criteria, alongside the undergraduate degree grade and publications.
Tied Scores
Each applicant’s overall score is rounded to the nearest whole number on a 100-point scale.
In the event of a tie for the final available place, all applicants with the same score are admitted, provided that their number does not exceed 10% of the maximum annual intake, equivalent to five (5) applicants.
The entire admissions procedure, from the submission of applications to the approval of the final ranking list and the enrolment of successful applicants, is described on the Call for Applications page.
