Postgraduate Programme Director

The Director of the Postgraduate Programme is a faculty member of the School of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), preferably holding the rank of Professor or Associate Professor. The Director is appointed by the Assembly of the School of Medicine for a two-year term, with the possibility of renewal, and serves as the Programme's Scientific Director.

The Director's responsibilities include:

• Chairing the Coordinating Committee, preparing its meeting agendas, and convening its meetings.
• Submitting recommendations to the Assembly of the School of Medicine on matters concerning the organisation and operation of the Postgraduate Programme.
• Overseeing the implementation of decisions made by the relevant governing bodies.
• Monitoring the implementation of the Programme's budget.
