Mobility & International Experience

The Master’s Programme in “Breast Diseases” encourages student mobility and engagement with contemporary clinical practice and research activities at international academic centres. To this end, the Programme ensures that students are regularly informed about available opportunities and develops targeted collaborations with specialised institutions abroad.

Educational Visits to Akademiska University Hospital (Uppsala, Sweden)

In collaboration with the Breast Surgery Department of Akademiska University Hospital in Uppsala, Sweden, students enrolled in the Master’s Programme have the opportunity to undertake two-month educational visits (observerships).

During these visits, students have the opportunity to observe:

  1. The operation of regular outpatient clinics.

  2. Multidisciplinary tumour board meetings.

  3. Surgical procedures performed by the Unit and advanced techniques in breast surgery.
