Through the Network, alumni will receive updates on the Programme’s scientific events and educational activities. We seek to encourage collaboration, including research partnerships, and the exchange of experiences with current students.
Plans for the Network include an annual alumni gathering. Members’ suggestions will contribute to the ongoing improvement of the MSc Programme.

Konstantinos Chatzopoulos
MD, MSc, Breast Surgeon, Deputy Director, 4th Breast Clinic, MITERA Hospital
“Having worked exclusively in breast surgery for more than 12 years, my decision to enrol in the Programme was not driven by a desire to enhance my CV. Above all, it was a personal commitment to myself, an ambition I had held since my specialist training and whose time had finally come. This is precisely what makes my journey through the Programme particularly meaningful: I began with deeply personal motivations, yet gained experiences and knowledge that exceeded all my expectations. Thanks to its excellent organisation, the comprehensive curriculum covering the full spectrum of breast diseases, and the calibre of its teaching staff, the MSc Programme proved to be an academic experience that is difficult to match. Having also attended scientific seminars and educational activities in Greece and abroad, I can confidently say that this Programme holds a distinctive position: it is, by far, the leading educational programme in Greece in the field of breast health.
Georgios Kekos
Surgeon, Mediterraneo Hospital
“Developments in breast health and breast diseases are advancing rapidly, making continuing medical education essential. The MSc Programme in Breast Diseases at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Medicine addresses the most pressing topics in breast medicine. Through theoretical and hands-on training in contemporary, multidimensional approaches to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, students acquire comprehensive scientific knowledge and practical skills. The founders of the MSc Programme, all distinguished university educators, have devoted themselves to this undertaking with exemplary dedication and commitment. With a profound sense of responsibility, they contribute outstanding and productive work. The lecturers and instructors bring exceptional enthusiasm and energy, sharing their expertise and presenting current perspectives concisely. My warmest congratulations to everyone involved.
Evangelia Kazamia
Midwife, MSc in Breast Diseases
“The MSc Programme in Breast Diseases was an exceptionally valuable experience for me. As a midwife, I was seeking a broader understanding of a subject of such importance and sensitivity to the women in my care. The Programme helped me deepen my knowledge of contemporary breast-health science, better understand women’s needs and provide more comprehensive care with greater confidence, responsibility and assurance in my work. The Programme combined high-quality theoretical education with clinical experience and inspired me to pursue continuous professional development. Working with distinguished professors, benefiting from the excellent organisation of the entire team and enjoying open communication gave me a sense of confidence and helped me grow professionally. I am truly grateful for the support I received throughout my studies: this MSc Programme has made me a better midwife, and I apply the knowledge and practices I gained every day to make a meaningful difference!
