HAHE Accreditation
The Postgraduate Programme in Breast Diseases undergoes periodic evaluation by a panel of independent experts appointed by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), with the aim of obtaining academic accreditation. The evaluation is based on predefined qualitative and quantitative criteria aligned with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).
Based on the panel's recommendations, an action plan is developed, the implementation of which is monitored by the Internal Evaluation Group (OMEA) in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Progress is documented in a Follow-up Report submitted to HAHE. Within this framework, the Programme has already incorporated recommendations arising from NKUA's external evaluation and the accreditation of the University's Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) to further improve its operations.
