General Principles
The Master’s Programme in “Breast Diseases” is aligned with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).
ECTS credits reflect the total workload associated with each educational activity and are awarded upon the successful completion and assessment of courses, practical training and, in the third semester, the Master’s Thesis.
Furthermore, the number of ECTS credits assigned to each course determines its weighting in the calculation of the final Master’s Degree grade. A detailed breakdown is provided in the [Course Catalogue].
Allocation of ECTS Credits
To obtain the Master’s Degree, students must complete a total of 90 ECTS credits, distributed equally across the three semesters, with 30 ECTS credits per semester.
Particular emphasis is placed on practical training during the second semester, where Clinical Practice II (14 ECTS credits) carries the highest weighting of all courses in that semester.
