Quality Assurance Policy
Ensuring the quality of education is an ongoing commitment of the Programme. The Quality Assurance Policy of the Master’s Programme in “Breast Diseases” is aligned with the corresponding policies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and its School of Medicine. The Programme implements the procedures of the University’s Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) in close collaboration with the NKUA Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP).

As part of its Quality Assurance Policy, the Programme is committed to:
Maintaining a curriculum structure and content that reflect the latest scientific developments in the field.
Ensuring that the learning outcomes and qualifications of graduates correspond to Level 7 of the National and European Qualifications Frameworks.
Continuously monitoring and improving the quality of teaching.
Ensuring that all teaching staff, particularly external collaborators, possess the appropriate qualifications.
Establishing measurable quality objectives annually and monitoring their achievement.
Monitoring graduates’ career progression and the demand for their qualifications in the labour market.
Providing high-quality support services to all students, including students with disabilities.
Making efficient use of available resources to meet students’ needs.
Undergoing annual internal evaluations and periodic external evaluations by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), using the findings to support continuous improvement.
Objectives
The Programme’s quality objectives include fostering a culture of quality, implementing the Academic Advisor system, encouraging the active participation of students and alumni in evaluation processes, and strengthening the research activities of teaching staff.
Additional emphasis is placed on student involvement in research, establishing links with doctoral studies, developing alumni networks, participation in the Erasmus programme, and expanding digital services.
Publication
The Quality Assurance Policy is published on the Programme’s website. At the beginning of each academic year, it is communicated to all teaching and administrative staff. Newly admitted students are informed of the Policy at the start of their studies and during the welcome event.
